Monday 4:00 pm 2:00 am (View All Hours) Sunday 4:00 pm 2:00 am. ![]() 1519 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15222. There is nothing to do there than spend you money, drink weak drinks and suck on a cigarette. Real Luck Cafe (Lucky’s) Gay & Lesbian Bar. The place is well-decorated and plays good music but it isn't a fun place. Piano bar/ disco / show bar- Travelers: avant garde private. They did not say anything rude but we were ignored or told "no". 41- Pegasus Lounge: 818 Liberty Ave., open daily 4p.m. The staff and its bar patrons were very unfriendly to us. It is not a nice patio like others have mentioned in their reviews. So, that I can see I am at least getting full shot of booze. I prefer a bartender who free-pours or one that uses a shot glass. When they use those, I am not even sure I am getting a full shot. The drinks are expensive and I observed them using those measuring devices that they slip on to measure a shot. The two liquors are fine Canadian whiskeys that should be a staple in every bar. So we moved down to the lower bar that allows smoking (we don't smoke and hate it) and the bartender approached me but they do not have BLACK VELVET WHISKEY and they did not have CANADIAN CLUB WHISKEY - UNBELIEVABLE. The bartenders there ignored me and my partner. I tried to get drinks for myself upstairs and tried for twenty minutes. On a Saturday night, the crowd was about 80% straight-heterosexual couples with a few Gay people here and there. It labels itself a Gay bar but it is not.
